Hi Custer Family! I hope this message comes through. I have been visiting with you weekly but cannot for the life of me figure out how to post a comment. However, when I saw the beautiful picture of Kayla and the deer as well as read the wonderful story I had to try and connect to the comment board.

Your experiences are priceless! I wish I could live in such a wonderful world.
Dear Phillip and Titus - please write me a letter, I have a book for each of you Love, Andrea

Hey!
I am so glad that you left your comment; it's nice to be in touch with family back home!
Our little deer is doing so good! You can't even tell that his leg was ever hurt, but I guess his poor ear won't be growing back! He is SO beautiful and just absolutely adorable! He makes the cutest noise that sounds like a baby goat!
Well, Titus and Philip have missed swimming with you! I am hoping that we can eventually put in a pool here too, so maybe you'll be tempted to visit!?!
Our experiences ARE priceless; we love our life!!! And you, too can "live in such a wonderful world!" Just take the leap! What will Steve think about that?!?

Lots of love,
Hey Pam, I was looking at your soaps about how much shipping is added? Also I was wondering if you could tell me that place that you took your pigs to have slaughtered? I think you said it was Lagrange maybe? Sorry to hear about your sprain. Ill be praying for a fast recovery. Love ya , Karen

Hello Karen!
Shipping for all of our products is based on weight (and destination)...priority mail starts at around $5.00. As an example, a package that I sent recently was 4 1/2 pounds, went about 500 miles, and cost the customer $9.90 in shipping. Another, only 1 1/2 pounds went to VA and cost $6.60. We have a program on the site that automatically figures and adds the shipping for us.
The last couple of batches of pigs that we put in the freezer were processed by the Daffins in Columbus. They come to YOUR place to put the animal down and quarter it, then take it to Columbus to cut, wrap, and freeze it. They are WONDERFUL!
My ankle seems to be getting better...today was the first day that I walked a little without crutches in almost four weeks!
Thanks for keeping in touch, and make sure you share our website with EVERBODY!

Pam

Hey! Pam here again...In answer to your latest inquiry, when you place an order on our website, there is an option to mail in your payment as opposed to using a credit card...hope all is well your way!

In response to: Mayo!

I AM using Sally Fallon's recipe...the one from Eat Fat, Lose Fat. The only difference in the two recipes is the oil. (In Nourishing Traditions, she says use olive or sunflower.) We hated it when I made it with olive oil! (And we love olive oil!) I also tried the sunflower and a combination of the two...but, now I'm using the oil blend that she and Mary recommend...and the mayo is GREAT, but I guess I mentioned that already! Mine tastes much better than store-bought and is MUCH thicker- like spreading softened butter. YUM! I still haven't made any deviled eggs with it; I am really anxious to try that because we love them...and it would be great to feel good about eating them! Thanks for gabbing with me! By the way, are you on the KFC forum?

Just wanted to know if you use Sally's mayo recipe or if you use a different one. I tried a mayo recipe with olive oil, and I didn't care for the taste. The extra virgin olive oil had such a strong flavor.
